From a Leap of Faith to a Household Name
On the 1st of March, 1982, Daniel Rossouw [Snr.], fresh out of the military, decided with his father, Pierre Rossouw, to purchase a small concrete fencing business in Bloemfontein named Rainbow Concrete. It was a leap of faith into an industry they knew little about, but one built on a shared desire for a new challenge.
For years, they built Rainbow Concrete into a trusted local name. Then, in 1998, an opportunity arose to purchase their competitor, Blitz Beton. The two companies began to work in tandem, each servicing the Free State and Northern Cape under their own respected brand names.
Two Brands, One Family, One Future
Today, we are unifying our online presence under the single, strong name of Blitz Beton. While the Rainbow Concrete brand is now part of our history, its legacy of quality and its specialization in beautiful, face-brick style walls lives on in everything we do. This consolidation represents our commitment to providing a clear, streamlined service for our customers, backed by the combined strength and experience of both companies.
